A little planning. A better fuel stop. Independent guides for Canada & the US

About Fuel Route Guide

Fuel Route Guide is an independent editorial project about choosing practical fuel stops. It explains how to read price reports, compare nearby stations and estimate whether a cheaper pump price justifies additional driving.

The intended audience is drivers in Canada and selected US locations represented in our research. City guides are organised around specific comparison problems, such as ambiguous place names, old reports, membership conditions and regional estimates.

What these guides provide

The pages contain explanations, source links and worked arithmetic. Examples are labelled as hypothetical. They do not represent a station visit, a verified live price or a promise of savings.

This publication does not operate GasBuddy, sell its membership products or handle its accounts. For GasBuddy’s own tools and support, use its official website.

Who runs Fuel Route Guide

Fuel Route Guide is operated and edited by Shehan Chamudith Udakumbura. No professional credentials, fuel-industry review or field testing are claimed. See the editor information for how guides are reviewed, or contact us with a correction.

How the content is prepared

Each guide is researched from linked public sources, then reviewed and edited by the named editor before it is published. City guides explain how to read reports and sources; they do not include original station visits. Source-check dates describe research, not the last time a pump price was observed.
